Yes, it's okay. I used to have some on mine. If you want, you can always link/credit them back for using their stuff.

Nothing says you can't but the law and the law gets broken everyday. I mean it's not like the police are gonna go to your myspace page and come arrest you for having a copywritten picture or anything. So I'd say do it!
