Why can't I download pictures on myspace?

When I first go myspace I downloaded tons of pics, but now when I try to it takes forever and wont go to the next step to do it. Use the dashed line box and put a square around the comment.

1. Choose the pic you wanna send. Choose 'send picture message' on your phone. Where your supposed to type in a number, put it on Abc and then type in your e-mail address.

The easiest way to resize is to open the pic in Paint. Click Image, click Sketch/Skew, type in 50 in both horizontal and vertical fields. Click OK. See if it reduced the size small enough, if not, type in a diff't number - you can make any image smaller or larger doing this. Then resave it and then try to load it again on myspace.

to post a picture on myspace you will log in, then click on "Add/Edit Photos" at the top left side and then on the next window click "Browse" and find the picture on your computer and upload it.

Make sure you get the code that gives the place of the picture.

If you get the pictures you want and save them to your computer, you can upload them onto www.photobucket.com and copy and paste the html tag into the section of your myspace profile that you want the pictures to be. To save a pic to your comp, you need to right click the picture you want, then go to save to computer...then save to something like desktop. then go to photobucket, make an account and hit upload, then find the pic u saved and choose it then upload, and underneath the picture in your photobucket album, will be 4 or so little bars with different text in them, you want to choose the one that say "HTML tag" before it right click the text and hit "copy". Then go into your myspace, hit edit profile, find the section u want to put the pic in, right click hit "paste" and update profile, you should see it on your page...hope this helped!

There should be an arrow that looks like it climbing up in a way, you have to click on that and it should bring you up to another level of your computer. I'm not sure where you have your pictures, but it should be listed in the folder above your documents. I'm sorry if I confused you more,its the easiest way I can describe it. well there is one file type -html that myspace does not accept. if your pictures are not html files then right click on them click "save target as" then save your photos to either my pictures or my documents then all you have to do is follow the myspace steps to upload them. it is easier than it looks.

since you have a photobucket account you should know how to upload the pics well once you do click on the pic and before copying the code. there are buttons right above the pic the third one over from the left says resize pick the size you want and it will change it then you know how to put it on there

I hate the number of people on myspace who have the most ridiculously photoshoped pictures who have all these people who think theyre so freakin hot but at the same fail to see how edited they are... insane contrasts, white washed areas, shadow and lumination adjutments... all that stuff...

Are you talking about everyday people that are on it or models? Photographers for any kind of model will severly overdo it when it comes to editing a photo...the skin will look so smooth you can't see the slightest imperfection and we all know, no one on this earth has natural skin like that. Things will be taken away or added...but again I only see this on people who are models. I certainly don't do it.

When you get a chance...check out some magazines like Newport News and Victoria's Secret. In some close up shots you can actually see where they took away some fat and in a lot of them you can see the line of the gel inserts they wear to make themselves look like they have boobs.

I think it depends. For example, I have a couple of my own photos that are either set on posterized or soft glow (my avatar is set on sepia tint, nothing more), but it's for fun. Most of my photos are normal and unedited, so I'm not fooling anyone, nor am I trying. Some people do it for the artistic aspect, not to fool people.

if the code doesn't work, make sure you have all your tags done correctly %26lt; to open and %26gt; to close the tag. and the "writing or link in between these guys " is very important.

How Do I Make a Myspace Profile Private

This used to be true. Up until a few months ago, you had to lie about your age on Myspace if you were over 16 and wanted to make your profile private. That was problematic, since Myspace also warns that lying about your age is grounds for having your profile deleted. It's unlikely that they will nuke you for claiming that you're 15 when you're really 16. But if you're 26 and claiming to be 15, it could appear suspicious, especially given the recent headlines about young teens and Myspace predators.

If you're over 16 and you REALLY want to make your profile private, here's how:

Click on Edit Profile

Click on Basic Info

Change the Date of Birth

Smack the Save Changes button

There's Private, and Then There's PRIVATE...

However... even if you set your age to under 16, anyone can still view your basic Myspace profile which shows the name, photo, age, location and last login of the account. The Full Profile will be marked Private, and will not be accessible to non-Myspace members, or to Myspace members over 18. (The Full Profile is the place where all profile details, the friends list, comments and blog entries are viewable.)

This is not much protection, though. ANYONE can create a fake Myspace profile, and claim to be under 18. If your privacy settings currently make the full profile viewable to "Anyone under 18 on MySpace", and you want to make the profile details visible to the user's Myspace Friends only, do this:

Click on Account Settings

Click on Privacy Settings

Now go to the bottom of the page and look for the Who Can View My Full Profile section. Choose the My Friends Only setting and click the Change Settings button. The full profile will now be visible ONLY to logged-in Myspace members who are on the account's Friends list. In other words, only other Myspace users specifically chosen to be in the Friends list will have access to the full profile of this Myspace account.

For example, you can direct it to go to your photo album, if you know a thing or two about html. Click on the picture you want. If it is a .jpg you save it in your file in windows in a folder perhaps called pictures and give the picture a name or number.

When you go to Yahoo it will ask you to click on browse and you pull up the picture you have saved from the file saved. You do them individually. Then Yahoo will ask you to upload.

If you need to convert these at all into html. Use photobucket and upload the same pictures and they will give you the html code to use.
